Student Rights
Just a quickie, I am setting up a range of services for students to get some hands one experience around Linux and Linux/UNIX shells environments.
I currently have three servers that can be used for connection via the following protocols:
SSH
FTP
Webmin
For SSH I am using rbash, and have also placed restrictions on access via FTP & Webmin.
Students can run various scripts CGI/PHP & Apache ASP if really needed. What other scripting basics would you advise that I implement.
Was going to try and add mono or some sort of .NET framework.
The real questions is can I via rbash allow students to develop and run shell scripts/applications.
Any ideas suggestions most welcome.
