What does this mean?

We looked through your server and found that some binaries were corrupt. We suggest reinstalling the server. This carries a $100USD fee. We reinstall on a new drive and slave your original for 24 hours so you may retrieve your data. Please advise how you want us to proceed.

In the sentences above what does it mean when "binaries were corrupt"? I don't know if I should go with the $100 fee to fix it. If anybody have any info, please help me out. Thank you.
