Alexa problem? Very high Daily Activity - why so many hits?
I have my homepages on a dedicated server from LT. And yesterday my Daily Activity raised from around 1500 hits pr day, to over 150.000 hits.
Almost all of my hits come from my own IP address at home, so what can create so many hits?
I have restarted all of my computers, but I still get thousand of hits today. All from my own IP. I have installed Alexa toolbar on one of my computers, but if you look at the stats, you will see that the my IP created a lots of hits when the computers was off.
I have only installed Alexa toolbar on my portable pc, and its only on when Im up.
Can I have virus? I have scanned all of my computers with F-secure, the newest update. No virus found.
And do I create a lot of hits on every page I visit? Can this be bad for me?
