proftpd skeleton ?
Redhat 8.0 and installed proftpd + mod_sql support
The username/passwords are in a database and
logging in with FTP-clients work fine. Jailing them
in their own directory also works fine.
The problem is however they cannot create or
upload files / directories. Even though the permssions
(chmod) are set to 755.... if i would set it to 777 it
would work, however this is of course not preferable
So i'm guess its a problem with owner:group..
Now' im reading about UID and GID, however this
is so confusing for me, can anybody give me a hand ?
