Interesting: What constitutes an individual server?
Many services out there charge a license fee per-server.What exactly constitutes an independent, individual server in legal terms?
To save on license fees, if you were running a huge site couldn't you just have one server and keep adding more and more RAM, hard drive space, and CPUs to it to accommodate increasing site needs?
This would technically still classify as one server, wouldn't it?
What does an independent server really mean? A server is theoretically processing power, isn't it? By servers, do they mean the number of physical different towers you have or something? --Because that would just be ridiculous...
I've been wondering about this, thanks in advance!
