Sys Req Estimates
I'm curious as to the experiences of any web host with dedicated servers. Specifically I am curious as to the system requirements that high-load applications (i.e., forums) require. For example, if a host has one dedicated 2GHz P4 with 512MB RAM and IDE HD, how many forums with ~50 continous users can one run comfortable (and maybe uncomfortably). Of course you can use vBulletin as an example. If any of the Mods want to take a stab at this with their experiences running WHT, I would appreciate that as well. Other than forums, what other popular applications that hog resources have hosts run into?
