Email Delivery problem

I wasn't sure the best place to ask this, hope this is ok.

I run a car-related discussion forum with around 20k users. Recently I changed forum software and the URL of my site changed (the new forum in a new directory). Anyway, I sent our a mass email to my members from the new forum software to inform them of the new site. I know some of them got delivered, but I'm getting th following error that says delivery has been delayed:

Domain (MYDOMAIN.com) has exceeded the max emails per hour (242/200 (121%)) allowed. Message will be reattempted later

I am getting this from several email providers. I know now the next time I won't send so many at one time, but will these email sitting in my queue eventually be delivered? Advice?
