Deleting dirs

Since 10 march webalizer stopped working (for some reason the date on my raq had changed to july 2004)

I de-installed and re-installed every available version with no result.
I have to manually delete webalizer.current, and then start webalizer.pl.
The only page refreshed after that is the mainpage (the date ontop has changed), but when i click "march" to get the daily results the old page from 10 march appear.
If i want to run webalizer again, i have to delete all the webalizer.current files again...

I deleted the logs in /var/logs/httpd, i split the logs rotated them, all with the same result: the date at the first page has changed, but no data from this month in the marchxxx.html.

Yesterday the date was changed again to 2006 this time, and webalizer worked for that date, so it must be a log problem somewhere.

Would it do any good to delete all the /stats directories to start all fresh ? If so, what would be the command to do that for all virtual sites ?

Any other suggestions are more then welcome.
