Broken Images on Linux Server w/ Apache

Sometime last night my server connection became really slow, but this morning it appears to be back to normal. The only weird thing is that some images appear broken each time a page is loaded. I ran top and this is what I see:

Does anyone know what the problem could be and how I can fix this?

The server is RH 7.2 w/ Apache, PHP, and MySQL installed.
