Hi everyone... I have a friend who is writing up a paper about Carnivore and she asked if I could answer some questions for her. Since I don't run my own data center I wasn't much help, so I thought I might ask those who do have their own data center her questions. 11. Were you presented with a warrant, court order or other legal documents obligating you to allow Carnivore to be installed? If yes, what type of document?
12. Did the document obligating you to allow the installation specify details as to why the installation was necessary? If yes, what were they?
13. Were you given details as to how Carnivore worked? If yes, what were they?
14. Upon installation of the device were you told a specific length of time that the device would be attached? If yes, how long? Was it removed at the time specified?
