mailman / python high loads
I recently ran into a problem with one server... basically mailman / python was using up ~ 95% + of the cpu resources for an extended amount of time. The server load average was about 6.0 5.5 5.0 (for the one, five and fifteen minute averages). The server load was around .8 before this problem started happening, and returned to about .8 after I did a kill -9 PID on the process.
The server is running redhat 7.1 along with Cpanel/WHM.
Does anyone have any idea what may have caused this? Any suggestions for anything that I should look into?
