Right now I have Att Cable, but that is an uneccesary expense for me with out allowing a domain name. Can DSL allow a domain name? I want to use Dreamweaver's Ultra Dev, I would like to get better at creating dynamic web page. But I am not sure what hosting service is right for me in this regard. In the tutorial book for Ultra Dev (Mac) it states that I am to use either a Unix server, Windows NT or a Windows 2000 server runing IIS. With that, when I define my site in Ultra Dev. I am to check either ASP, JSP or Cold Fusion. Is there a dial up and hosting plan out there that would be right for my situation. I am on a Mac. I am a little lost on how ASP, JSP and Cold Fusion relates to Windows NT, Windows 200 & (IIS) or Unix server. This is important in my decision on what dialup and hosting plan I choose. I want CGI, PHP as well.
