ouch... hack attempt?

hi I got a couple of emails of my system alert (rh 7.2) with this line:

Unusual System Events
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
May 25 07:10:22 myboxname -- MARK --

does somebody know what this could be?
