Fantastico Auto-Installer

Not sure this is the right forum, if not 'mod' please move it.

Does anyone know of a script like "Fantastico" that does not require CPanel? I would like to be able to offer users the ability to install various popular apps like (phpBB2, osCommerce,PhpNuke....) with the simplicity that Fantastico offers. It would be nice if the script was flexible enought to add additional apps.
