howto improve security of a server?
i'd like to know, how i could secure my directory tree/the directories better ...
if any user right now connects via ftp, they can view just everything ... though can't open the files (that'd be horrible) which, imho, shouldn't be the case.
you know any good how-to's, tutorials or can tell me howto set directory permissions right/better? and how to make exemptions ... for example for users who should be able to use their own dir in /htdocs
