Setting up from scratch
I have never done this before, and i have a very vague idea on how to do it. Can someone please tell me all the steps or send me to a quick tutorial on how to link a domain to a win2k professional server.
Lets say i have the domain mydomain.com.
I also have a PC running win2k server.
Can anyone give me full steps on how to successfully setup 2 name servers for the machine, and then get me to the point where I can just submit the NS to the domain registrar.. and link the domain to the machine without just using IP forwarding.
I have never done this before, but this is just a test. Also one more thing..once i have everything up and running.. how to add subdomain names?
I am just trying to learn how to do this in win2k, not really for a biz, but just for self education.
