Looking for different way to stream mp3's in 96Kbps, other than www.shoutcast.com

is there any other way to stream mp3's other than
http://www.shoutcast.com/download/serve.phtml
cause the above one goes to shoutcast.com then to listener
I'm on cable, is there any other way
to stream directly from my com to a listener???
