Real weird DNS problem

Hey,

This is the problem I am encountering. Sometimes my IP backward resolves and sometimes it doesnt. I would be very happy if someone could explain to me why this isnt working correctly.

OK. #1 the IP is controlled by ns1.******.net here are the tests

Netblock: 64.247.192.0 - 64.247.223.255
Maintainer: OCIL

Coordinator:
******, NOC (NO163-ARIN) noc@******.net
(612) 252-2300 (FAX) (612) 252-2310

Domain System inverse mapping provided by:

NS1.******.NET 64.247.192.5
NS2.******.NET 64.247.208.5

> host 64.247.223.172
Host not found, try again.

> host 64.247.223.172 ns1.******.net
Using domain server:
Name: ns1.******.net
Address: 64.247.192.5
Aliases:

172.223.247.64.IN-ADDR.ARPA domain name pointer jessica.nethosters.com (which is correct)

> host 64.58.76.229
229.76.58.64.IN-ADDR.ARPA domain name pointer w8.dcx.yahoo.com (just to prove host works)

> nslookup jessica.nethosters.com
Server: ns.circa.ufl.edu
Address: 128.227.8.88

Non-authoritative answer:
Name: jessica.nethosters.com
Address: 64.247.223.172

(reverse lookup to test)
