requiesting additional IPs
we need additional IPs for multiple virtual web-servers we host on a single dedicated server at rackspace
the reason to obtain more IPs is search-engine optimization issues
as rackspace people told us we should send a letter to ARIN explaining why we need those extra-IPs but I'm afraid SEO problems would not sound to ARIN like "a serious reason for more IPs"
has anybody asked ARIN for extra-IPs? and what kind of explanation given to ARIN would guarantee that our request for extra IPs will be approved?
