Moving... Name Servers
We are going to be moving a few servers from Texas to New Jersey - Our plan is top copy the harddrives in texas and fly them up to ny. Then piont the DNS records (from the servers in texas) to the ips in New Jersey. But herein is the question:
dns1.elitehosts.com and dns2.elitehosts.com are pointing to servers in texas. If i update those with our registrars to point to ips in NJ will everyone using dns1 and dns2's registrars update the dns1 and dns2 ips to the new ones or must they do it manually? (IE setup dns3 and 4 and transfer all domains to dns3 and 4 and then transfer dns1 and 2 to nj ips and then transfer all domains back to dns1 and 2)
To sum it up: will updating the ips the name servers point to automatically update on each domain using those name servers?
