Brand new RACK...

Im plan to get my self a brand new dedicate server, and i have no experience before anything about it, so i just wondering about do my security section will make my life sux or not.

And can anyone tell me how to make my rack safe from hackers, or tricks for those hosting company used to protect their own rack.
