I am assisting one of my customers with a game demo distribution. I have already setup accounts on multiple servers and configured round-robin dns. I would like to know what options I have for either limiting simultaneous downloads or download rate for this account.
FYI, this is not something I am doing behind my customer's back, but a plan to keep from killing a server or 2 if there is a bigger rush than my customer anticipates. I already have my customer's permission to shut down the entire download if the load becomes too high. Any ideas?
