cpanel + default shared IP

Hi guys, I've just setup cpanel on my server and i've been doing some routine testing etc etc, my problem is this.

When I create a new shared virtual hosting account (sharing an IP) it shares the main site IP instead of using a different IP - (in the main configuration section I selected xxx.xxx.xxx.183 as the main shared IP however it's using xxx.xxx.xxx.180 (the main site IP) as the shared IP.

My question is this, how can I change the main shared IP for name based hosting and ensure I can assign more than one account to it?
