"proftpd dead but subsys locked"
When I attempt to FTP, I immediately get a connection refused error. This happens before it attempts to check login information.
I checked the status of proftpd and it stated "proftpd dead but subsys locked"
When I attempt to start proftpd it says"
"Shutting down ftp server
Starting ftp server.
- no such user 'wwwuser2'
- Fatal: User: Unknown user 'wwwuser2'."
Does anyone have any idea what is wrong and how to fix it?
