HOWTO RSYNC ??? Anybody ???
Been reading up on RSYNC and it seems to be able to fit to my requirements ...
Idea - Create a mirror image of 1st HDD onto 2nd HDD ... then create a cron job that will run nightly to update the 2nd HDD...
This has been discussed extensively in the forums ... but when I search for a HOWTO ... it does not come up.
Been searching "rysnc" & "howto rsync" & "how rsync" - 115 threads come up but looking thru each and everyone of them, they do not explictly tell me how to do it ...
Could any kind souls help me out ? Or point in the right direction ?
(a) Need a HOWTO for installing rsync, my box does not have it pre-installed
(b) Need a HOWTO for setting up rsync to mirror 1st HDD to 2nd HDD
(c) Need a HOWTO for setting up rsync on a cron job

PS - Box is running RH7.2+Enism3.1.1 & no no ... its not with Rackshack ... I'm on my own ...
