Chat script or host
I'm looking for a good chat script. Preferably php and mysql based. I need one that uses password authentication for users. Moderation functions are also a must. Also I will be hosted on a shared hosting plan so I will not have abilities to do any custom copliling of PHP to add additional flags as I've seen some scripts require.
Or, if you know of a better chat solution (with no popup or banner ads) I'm open to suggestions. IRC however is not an option unless /whois can be disabled or ip's masked. Anonymity is important to my users.
