I have a server that randomly locks up. This machine is in a remote location. From what the people at the noc are telling me it is not over heating. The machine is a dual xion 1.8 with 2 gigs of ddr ram and 2 80 gig ide hard drives running raid 1 in a 2u case. I have tried everything I can think of to get it to stop and still no go. There is nothing in /var/log/messages to indicate it is an os problem it just stops. I was thinking that it could be a memory problem so if anyone knows of any diagnostic software for memory let me know Im ripping my hair out on this one.
