Grub-client (http://www.grub.org) is supposed to be software for spidering websites. I've noticed several hits in the logs from this software, most of which are coming from private addresses (they say "dsl" or something similar in the host lookup). What I'm wondering is if they are actually just farming e-mail addresses to use for spam. Is there any legit use for this software? I realize that there are potentially legit uses, but is this used for harvesting e-mail addresses? I did a couple of searches but didn't turn up anything.
