Scripts to allow user registration for free email service

Hi,

(1) Are there are any free as well as commercial (automated) scripts that will allow users to signup for free email service? (I am providing the free email service, i.e. like yahoo and hotmail)

(2) How do you append/affix advertising to the end of emails like yahoo/hotmail.
