some strange behavior

Hmm, starting this morning I have noticed some very strange activity on my server. What the deal is, is I have a subdomain (ie. secure.domain.com) that contains all of my ordering scripts, billing, etc. All the stuff clients use to securely access their accounts.

Well, suddenly it stopped working. Meaning when you go to the subomain, it is giving the "cannot find server" crap when I try going to it. Remember, this is https (port 443). Odd.. so I tried just going to it with standard http. Well, it conected, but still had a problem. Instead of that taking me to the /secure directory like it should, it takes me to the apache is sucessfully installed page. WTF?

I had it set up so that users could enter the non-secure page, but get redirected to the secure.. but it isn't doing that. So, to examine things further, I looked at httpd.conf. I have not made any changes for about a week, and this just started happening this morning (at least that I'm aware of). So I restarted apache. Same problem.

Confused, I sent a trouble ticket.. they said they restarted apache and everything looked fine as well, and they could access everything. So I type the URL into my browser. .and it worked! Sweet.. so while I'm in there working on some billing stuff.. it suddenly stopped working some strange behavior

So, I keep hitting refresh.. and it is back to doing what it was doing before. ARGHH!!!! Getting irate by this point.. and suddenly, hit refresh again and it works fine! It was working about 10 minutes ago, but has just recently stopped again.

So, I'm at a loss here. has anyone experienced this before? Or have any idea of what to look for to possibly be causing this? I have about 30 minutes to try and fix it, because I am going to be out of town for about 24 hours. No secure order form = no customers some strange behavior
