networking help
linux server has two nics and and the pc has one
one of the server nics is for the net and the other to connect to the pc
so
on the server i just set the second nic card to use the ip address 192.168.0.1 correct? or something simular
then on the pc nic set it to 192.168.0.2 or if the server runs dhcp get it to assign the ip address automatically.
am i correct so far?
here is my problem :/
what do u type in for the netmask and broadcast on both the pc and the server nics?
