I'm hosted with 'one great company' as a reseller. And 2 of my customer reported that the email delays in few to 24 hours to arrive. One of it even takes a week. So I got the mail header and find that the mail has arrived the server 11 seconds after being sent out but the server takes 7 days to send it to the mailbox. I filed a ticket and been told that the mailbox file has been locked while the server try to write to it. So they told me that maybe the client check the email too often to make the file locked. And I told them the client check emails every 10 mins. Then they told me that maybe the client's connection is slow, but they are actually adsl. The problem is, the hosting company seems don't want to take any action on this. How should I do to find out real problems?
