On Log Analyzes and Reverse DNS...

I have a questions and would be more than happy if you could help me answering them. I am an end-customer and am currently hosting my site at a Venturesonline Reseller.

Reverse DNS entries for MX records: I noticed that some of the mail I should have received never reached me. I then checked my DNS (yes, dnsreport) and noticed that there are no reverse DNS entries for MX records. The same error message appears for the underlying server's hostname. I went further and checked the dns of other resellers. Strange enough - most resellers of venturesonline (!!) don't have a proper dns. Does anyone know why?
