I've noticed that when I check CPU usage (system health in WHM) that one of my clients is continually running 1 and sometimes up to 3 process of a enom.pl scripts. He has set up 3 cron jobs in his CPanel. In the start of this scripts is written that it continually tries to register domains at enom.com and it also uses starttime.dat, stoptime.dat, crontab.dat, index.cgi and a watcher.pl file.
Can anybody here enlighten me? - is there anything to be worried about? - I just thought that if several clients did the same it would cause problems with server load. I don't know if I should tell him to stop using this script on the server. Any advice is gratefully received.
