I'm currently working on a project that requires basically 100% uptime, Everyone knows there is no hosting company that can offer that, however I'm wondering how I can setup 2 servers at different host and have the dns redirect traffic to a different host if the primary is down.
I'm not sure, but I don't believe that simply putting the second host dns would solve this problem, because I think that even if the server was down the first dns would continue to direct traffic to the down server. Does anyone know how what I'm looking for could be achieved?
