Mail problem - CPanel

Hi,

I have a client who has a reseller account. He can't log in to one of his pop3 accounts through the CPanel, and can neither download mail to his email client (which is not Outlook). He finally configured it to successfully download mail from the server yesterday, but today it's the same problem. He can't log in throgh the CPanel or download the mail.

This is confusing me -
- I have had support technicians looking at it
- no other account on the server is having this problem
- he has tried to remove and recreate the account as well in his WHM
- the scripts in WHM neither solves the problem - at least not the scripts that I know of.

Does anybody here know how to handle such a problem?
