I have iis5 win2k and i have a directory that is password protected for some reason. IUSR_machname is set to read&execute, so is everyone account. have iis control anonymous user password is checked. it's definately using IUSR_machname for anonymous access. my new directory isn't working without a password popup from windows. I don't understand it! any help?
