Hosting without rDNS - bad?

I have been with Hostculture.com for one month now and I must say that it was a great choice so far (Aron and Jorge are amazingly quick in answering questions!!). However, there is one thing that I am not sure about and I actually found a similar post on this here in this forum, http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showth...highlight=rdns .

When you check the virtual hosting server of Hostculture, notice that it has an invalid rDNS. --> http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/ptr.ch...ostculture.com
http://www.dnsreport.com/tools/dnsre...ostculture.com

I've been trying to explain this to Hostculture for some time, but it seems that either them or the engineers at VOSN don't think that there is any problem with not having appropriate rDNS records Hosting without rDNS - bad?
Hostculture said that they cannot rDNS all domains because most of the domains use shared IPs. But shouldn't only the underlying server have a correct rDNS and wouldn't that be enough to fix the DNS?

Unfortunately, since switching to Hostculture I've aexperienced at least two mail problems. In one case, I sent an email out but it never received its target (it worked before the switching though; the receiver's provider is using QMail and has it set to refuse emails with wrong rDNS it seems). In another case, I stopped receiving mails from a message board (email tracking feature). It has always worked in the past and it also works when I change the email to another freemail account. In neither cases are bouncing messages generated.

As a consequence, I don't feel confident using my email account with the way it works right now. I cannot be sure that my mail actually arrives at its intented target.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Thanks
Alex
