I'm stumped on a DNS problem im having. I called the colo center and asked them about it, no known issues, its on my side their saying. I cant contact a site via domain name but can with an IP. Not all the time though. Sometimes domainname works and sometimes it doesnt work... no specific times, just in invtervals. Not only me but other people as well. So I know my ISP is working fine. But, Ive since then restarted the system, restarted services, cleared out logs and rebooted again and looked at logs for any errors, checked DNS records for anything suspicious... nothing, no errors. Name servers function properly, all IPs are running properly...... can anyone give me a clue as to what I can check on next or troubleshoot?
