cisco switch that has mrtg's for each port
I'm looking into co-locating a few servers for myself and some friends (non-commercial web hosting) and I'm hunting for a switch for us. MRTG's for each port are crucial to detect who caused the overages and such.
We get one 100mb FastE drop into the cabinet. Then I will feed off the connection to the servers. I really don't need anything more than 12-24 ports.
I was looking at a Cisco 1900 series, as they are priced well. They do not have this capability from what I understand and have read though. I don't have any experience with them. My last job I worked alot with Cisco 3548's and I know they do that. I would hope I don't have to scale all the way up to that though to do what I want. It looks like the 2950 would suit my needs also.
