Cpanel and php safemode!

Hello there,

I want to:

1. Turn php safemode to ON on the entire server
2. Set just my own virtual account to safemode OFF

I have searched and found this can be done by editing php.ini and httpd.conf

The problem is I am running Cpanel. Does anyone has some experience on this kind of configuration?

I want to know if whm/cpanel could be affected is some way if i add some lines to the configuration files (php.ini and httpd.conf)

Would i be ok editing this files and if i find some sort of problems just go back to the previous conf files? Or is cpanel/whm get altered in some other way if i do that kind of changes.

I want to run Modernbill and PHPlive on my own virtual account, and have found that i need to have php safemode turned off.
