Server Hardware Problems... What Could It Be?

Server Specs:

Abit VP6 Motherboard
2 x Intel P3 800 EB chips
Diamond Viper 32 MB Video Card
4 x 512 MB Kingston PC133 SDRAM
7200 RPM 80 GB Western Digital Hard Drive
LinkSys 10/100 Ethernet Card <-- What I thought would be the problem because it's cheap

I just recently colocated a server and it appears there is something wrong with it hardware wise. The server was up and running for a while with just me testing the site I recently moved onto it. Once it went online it suddently stopped serving pages. I could still ping and trace the server and I could ssh, but once the login info was submitted it just sat there. It was determined there was a loose memory stick and that was fixed and the server was restarted and all was fine.

About an hour later the same thing happened. Again it's traceable and pingable, but it won't server any pages. This time, however, I can login to ssh and perform a few commands. The ones that I can't include:

- stopping httpd
- viewing httpd status
- running top

What could be causing this problem?
