firewall /Win2k/SQL
Hi.
For one of my client, i need to patch is SQL 2000 system. To patch win2k system, I need to start the sql server because it cannot patch the server when it is not running.
However, when I enable sql 2000, it starts to DDoS, and I get logged out due to excessive traffice and the server needs reboot.
I connect to the win2k system via Terminal Services.
I understand that via firewall, I can disable all access to SQL , enable sql, patch it up and disable the firewall, but I have not found a good firewall that will allow me to install/work via Terminal Services.
