PHP And Hosting

i havent played with php in a few years and my host has switched me to a new machine and has installed php, however i am calling a simple footer page on my site, and there is nothing showing up!!

So i know he doesn't have php installed correct, i have spent the last 2 day fighting with him on this issue, most of my site uses php. Is there anything you could tell me to have him check out??

I have upload a infophp and it brings up the php info he has, but still no php working on my site, Any ideas???

The php tag i am using is <?include "slfooter.php";?>
i have tried it with the required tag and still nothing.

The server is freebsd using php 4.2.3

Just for the record everything was working GREAT before the switch!!
