Pinging Timeout... Help - Fastservers.net
I wanted to know why when I try to ping my domain:
bargainempire.com (on shared ip 66.220.24.145)
I get a timeout after 5 seconds
Even when I ping fastservers.net I get the same result
I can access my website fine though
The reason I am asking is because a lot of my customers are complaining that they experience intermittent connectivity to their website 30% of the time. They can access their website via the IP no problem but can't seem to connect to the main url. Whenever they tell me this, I can access their site just fine. I know its not their ISP because I have received a lot of complaints.
I also get email complaints - people who try to email them find that their email bounces when trying to reach my server. Some people complain about not getting any email even when they know they have sent a test email.
Any ideas?
