How do you limit diskspace for a subdomain?

I am trying to implement something like Tripod, Geocities, where users are given a free subdomain and a limited disk space for their usage.

Creating a subdomain and FTP username/password for the user in CPanel where they can upload their files/images to their sub-directory is no problem but can you be able to set some kind of diskspace limit for a subdomain?

If you know of any software or script, please point me in the right direction.
