I have noticed that when I run a firewall on a server of mine that monitors an external switch using MRTG it stops MRTG from working. I can only assume that this is because I am blocking a port using my firewall that MRTG needs to get access out from and in to. Does anyone know what port MRTG utilises so I can enable it in my firewall?
