Security: Linux anit-virus + extra security on top of Bastille
Hi,I'm currently running 2 servers, both with the same setup:
Redhat 7.3, Cpanel, Bastille linux + PSAD
One of the servers was recently trojanned. Luckily I run chkrootkit and it caught it, I had the DC folk get rid of the problem. The trojan probably got on to the server prior to me installing bastille (it was unprotected for 2 weeks, as I was busy with other things). I searched round here and round the rackshack forums for free/affordable anti-virus software to install on my servers.
I did come up with one free possibility, but the posts was made 4 months ago, meaning the software would be out of date (I couldn't find any mention of a newer version anywhere). I'm also aware of the rackaid software ($29 I believe).
Does anybody know some software that is worth looking into.
Secondly, are there any security scripts that work together with Bastille and PSAD to further improve security, or will I have to get rid of these and switch to something else.
The recent worm attack and the trojan have me on a frenzy to increase the security of my servers, even if they are linux, so advice is highly appreciated.
