ug, my documents change of location, .reg problem, HELP
1. on windows 98 and xp I am trying to get those locations to change automaticly on startup(location depends on username on a windows domain). I have this done to the point where it will edit the registry, make the change, but will NOT change the location tell the computer logs in the next time. Is there any way to have this changed and UPDATED from the time a login script runs to the time the user has control of the desktop, this is for both XP and 98. I can do this manually and have it update in realtime, so there must be a way to do it after making the changes to the registry(which is how this is working)
