Persistent or nor persistent ... thats the question
i would like to know , what is better for performance and for down the load averages with mysql and php intensive applications as VB forums. Persistent connections or nor persistent ?
in my tests , with persistent connections , we have a lot of MYSQL proccess run simultaneously (most of them Sleep) near 200 or 250 , and this ought me to raise the Max_connections variable my.cnf , without persistent connections we have ~15 connections simultaneously.
The Queries per second avg is ~60 in my server.
I would like to know what is your opinion about persistent connections in a busy server.
